The Graduate Student Government Association (GSGA)
GSGA Activities
Over the past few years, the GSGA has played an integral role in promoting graduate student-directed programming and activities, both on c ampus and in the community.
Annually, the GSGA:
- distributes discretionary funds to graduate departments and student activity groups
- awards excellence awards to outstanding graduate students
- hosts a campus-wide blood drive
- organizes a large reception for graduates’ families and friends after our spring commencement ceremony
In past years, the GSGA has funded an exciting range of events for graduate students, including:
- Departmental Conferences and Symposiums
- Guest Lecturers
- Graduate Student Excellence Awards
- Community Service Projects
- Social & Networking Events
- Social & Networking Events
- The Journal of Global Change and Governance
- Collaboarative Student Research Award for psychology research
